Available Choices
- Edit or remove library entries, reading statuses, ratings, notes, tags, and taste preferences.
- Change circle sharing and visibility settings.
- Disable camera, photo library, and notification permissions in iOS Settings.
- Clear declined recommendations where supported in the app.
- Export account data, request corrections, or delete your account.
- Leave the early access waitlist or withdraw consent for waitlist updates by emailing support.
Delete Your Account
Use Profile > Settings > Delete Account or Data & Privacy in Book Guru. If you cannot access the app, email admin@nerdyexecutive.com with the subject "Book Guru account deletion" from the email address tied to your account.
Deletion requests may require identity verification. We may retain limited information where needed for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or financial records.
Account deletion removes active profile and reading data, user-owned bookshelf images, authentication access, and local offline snapshots on the device processing the deletion. Provider backups may remain until their normal protected backup rotation expires.
Request Data Export or Correction
Email admin@nerdyexecutive.com with the subject "Book Guru data request" and describe the request. We will respond using the contact information associated with your account.
